Why the Electric-Wagon Is the Ultimate Summer Yardwork Companion

Summer on the homestead or farm is a beautiful thing — mornings that smell like fresh-cut grass, gardens bursting to life, projects that have been waiting since the last frost. But let's be honest: it's also one of the most physically demanding seasons of the year. Hauling mulch, moving equipment, ferrying harvested produce from the field — all of it adds up fast.

That's exactly why the Electric-Wagon was built. Designed and assembled right here in Wauseon, Ohio, this American-made battery-powered utility cart was engineered to make the hard work of summer lighter, faster, and a whole lot more enjoyable.

"Living in a rural community, we know what hard work looks like — and having the right utility wagon for chores makes the load lighter."

Built for the Way You Work the Land

The Electric-Wagon isn't based on some existing platform with a motor bolted on. It was prototyped and tested from scratch — in warehouses, parks, and real working environments around Toledo, Napoleon, and Delta — until it performed exactly as intended. The result is a heavy-duty steel platform and durable chassis that handles up to 500 pounds, paired with a nimble frame that can navigate tight spaces between raised beds, fence rows, and barn aisles.

What sets it apart from every other electric cart on the market? The power source. Instead of a proprietary battery that needs a dedicated charger, the Electric-Wagon runs on the same 18–20V or 40V tool batteries you already own. DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Snap-on, EGO — if you've got the batteries, you've got the power. No gas, no cords, no fumes, no trip to the charging station.

Summer Yardwork, Task by Task

🌱 Garden & Raised Bed Prep

Hauling bags of compost, soil amendments, and mulch from the truck bed to the garden used to mean a wheelbarrow and a sore back. With the Electric-Wagon's powered motor doing the heavy lifting, you can load it up, steer it down the path, and stay focused on planting — not recovering.

🌾 Moving Harvested Produce

Late summer harvests can mean crate after crate of tomatoes, squash, and corn that all need to make it from the field to storage or the farmstand. The Electric-Wagon's 500 lb capacity and detachable sides mean you can load it generously and move efficiently — no more multiple wheelbarrow trips.

🪵 Hauling Wood, Tools & Supplies

Whether you're mid-fence repair, running irrigation line, or splitting wood for fall, having a powered cart that can carry your tools, materials, and gear across uneven terrain is a genuine game-changer. The steel platform holds it all, and the electric motor keeps you moving — even uphill.

🐓 Livestock Chores

Delivering feed, moving straw bales, transporting water containers — these chores happen every single day, rain or shine. The Electric-Wagon's quiet, zero-emission motor is easy on the animals (no loud engine startles), and the rugged chassis handles the terrain between pastures, coops, and barns without complaint.

☀️ General Property Maintenance

From hauling debris after a summer storm to carting mulch to your flower beds or moving heavy potted plants around the porch, there's no shortage of uses for a reliable, battery-powered utility cart around the homestead all season long.
